De Profundis

by Vader

World Eater Modern death metal just can't compete with this. No DAW, no quantizing of the drums, no aligning perfectly to the grid, etc. Doc really played this, this ferociously. And the follow-up, Black to the Blind, is even more nuts. To quote John Longstreth, Doc was the "baddest European drummer of his time".

Ippocalyptica Sometimes you already own an album but decide that you need to buy it again on Bandcamp to spread the good word. Not too many albums warrant this treatment, but De Profundis, as Vader’s second best album and one of the best extreme metal albums to come out of Poland, definitely makes the cut. While often compared to a certain legendary Floridian death metal band, Vader stands tall and proud as a monolithic and consistent force of death metal. Fast, direct, crunchy, heavy: this is Vader! Favorite track: Silent Empire.

deewhybee This remaster is a must. Doc comes through on this. I hope they clean up Litany like they did this. I know Pitor says they've re-recorded some of these songs with better production, but we love Doc.
